HITCON CTF 2025
HITCON CTF is a cybersecurity attack-and-defense competition organized by the Hacks in Taiwan Conference (HITCON). It can be described as a martial arts tournament for hackers. The challenge creators design problems across various cybersecurity skill categories—including Web, Crypto, Reverse Engineering, Pwnable, and Miscellaneous—to test the participants' abilities. HITCON CTF is not only a fierce competition among hackers, but also a top-tier showdown between the challenge creators and the competitors.

Each year, HITCON CTF uses the acronym "CTF" as inspiration to create different thematic concepts. From the early "Capture The Food" with a food-based theme, to last year's "Capture The Fengshui" themed around feng shui, this year HITCON teams up with Cyber Range to bring a cyberpunk-themed event. Stay tuned to see what unique "CTF" style will unfold on site this year.

Challenge Design Team
This team is formed around a core group of cybersecurity teams from different generations in Taiwan. It includes both students and top professionals from the industry, covering most of Taiwan's current active players.

Beyond participating in international cybersecurity competitions, these team members are also active in Taiwan's local security study groups and communities. They frequently take part in and help organize various domestic security events—such as hosting CTF competitions, assisting with the HITCON hacker conference, and teaching in AIS3's next-generation security courses. Their involvement not only enhances knowledge sharing and learning opportunities within the cybersecurity field but also enables more people to participate and showcase their skills.
